Behind the Song:
"Jesus Lord of Heaven is a song I wrote quite a long time ago actually. It was on my first independent record. I’m doing it again cause I feel like it still has a life outside of the setting that it was first out in. This song seemed to connect with people the most out of all of my earlier songs. I’ve actually heard recordings of this song in seven different languages now. This is another one I pray has a life in the corporate worship setting, since leading people in worship is such a big part of what I do. I want to have songs on this record that are not only listened to but sung as well. I’m excited to have songs that will allow people not only to receive, but also respond to the love of Christ." - Phil Wickham
