JOHN SCHLITT PREMIERS 3rd SOLO RELEASE THE GRAFTING ON DAYSTAR'S CELEBRATION

John Schlitt NASHVILLE, TENN.) -- John Schlitt, multiple Grammy Award-winning recording artist, premiers the release of his third solo album, The Grafting, Tuesday, January 22nd at 11 a.m. CST on Celebration, Daystar Television Network’s one-hour live talk show program.

Hosted by Marcus and Joni Lamb, Celebration, broadcast from Dallas, Texas, will feature the music and testimony of John Schlitt, including a live performance of three of his songs from The Grafting: "Only Men," "Keep Your Light On," and the title track, "The Grafting."

The Grafting releases on Schlitt’s 4K Records this month.

Best known as the voice behind the four time Grammy Award and ten time Dove Award-winning group PETRA, Schlitt continues his solo career following the band’s retirement in 2005. In his role as PETRA’s lead singer, Schlitt wrote the #1 hit “Just Reach Out” and earned RIAA-certified GOLD status for the albums Petra Praise: The Rock Cries Out and Beyond Belief. Schlitt also earned a third Gold album (Flat as a Pancake) as the front man for the ‘70s classic rock band Head East. With PETRA, Schlitt has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and was the first Christian group to be celebrated by Hard Rock Café.

Daystar is the fastest growing and second largest Christian television network in the world, operating over 50 television stations in major markets across the United States with production facilities in Dallas, Houston, and Denver. Daystar is also viewed on international satellites as well as DirecTV, affiliated stations, various cable systems, and on the Internet.
