Nashville, Tenn. April 28, 2010… Adding to an already impressive list of TV exposure that includes CBS’ “Ghost Whisperer” and NBC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” Seabird’s tune “Believe Me” is being used in the current promotion for Jillian Michael’s new NBC show titled “Losing It With Jillian.” Michaels is best known for her role on the popular show “The Biggest Loser” also on NBC.

Michael’s recently commented on her facebook page about the song and band by saying, “ It doesn't get any cuter than this. The song we used for Losing It promo is called ‘Believe Me’ by a band called Seabird. Here is a cute little thank you speech they gave on youtube. Adorable. If you are not familiar with them get familiar. Their music is beautiful.” To see the promotion as well as an introduction from Seabird’s Aaron Morgan in the band’s latest video blog, visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imjp5vnG6p8.

Seabird also unveiled their latest music video for the hit single “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful” exclusively on Seventeen.com earlier in the month. To see the video filmed in the band’s hometown of Cincinnati visit http://www.youtube.com/user/seabirdTV.

In addition to a busy touring schedule in 2010 including dates with Switchfoot and a tour with NEEDTOBREATHE which launched yesterday in Tulsa, OK, Aaron Morgan will be heading to the poorest region of the poorest country in the western hemisphere, the northwest zone of Haiti, to work with Help Heal Haiti and Northwest Haiti Christian Mission (helphealhaiti.com and nwhcm.org). While in the earthquake-stricken country, Morgan will be a part of many of the aides NWCHM provides including their nutrition program which feeds between 15,000 to 18,000 Haitians daily, children’s soccer camps, worship services, visiting with orphans at the Miriam Center which provides a home for mental and/or physically handicapped children and meeting with community leaders/pastors. Morgan is raising his own funds to make the trip. To contribute, text "Ryfo 105" to 85944

“We want this to be a trip where we see and experience all the aspects of Help Heal Haiti and Northwest Haiti Christian Mission so that we can dream about how Seabird and others can partner to come alongside the rescue the restoration, the redemption of the individuals and communities of Haiti,” explains Brent Bramer of Help Heal Haiti.

Cincinnati-based Seabird comprises brothers Aaron (vocals/keys) and Ryan (guitar) Morgan as well as Preston Lane (drums) and Brandon Weaver (bass). The band signed with Credential Recordings in late 2007 and released its debut label project, ‘Til We See The Shore, June 24, 2008. A collaborative effort with producers Jacquire King (Modest Mouse, Kings Of Leon, Tom Waits, Switchfoot) and Allen Salmon (Mute Math, This Beautiful Republic), the album received phenomenal national publicity, featured on episodes of “Numb3rs,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and promos for ABC’s 12-time Emmy-nominated series, “Pushing Daisies.” Their latest, Rocks Into Rivers, was produced by Paul Moak at the Smoakstack in Nashville, and Matt Hales at Ocean Studios in Los Angeles. The band was also recognized by its hometown as “Artist of the Year” at the 2008 Cincinnati Entertainment. For more information on Seabird, visit: www.seabirdmusic.com or www.myspace.com/seabird.
