Highlighted by new arrangements of songs from Go Fish's now-classic recording, Christmas With A Capital 'C,' The Gift Of Advent features "Joy To The World," "It's About The Cross," "Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee," "We Three Kings," "The Little Drummer Boy," and the group's viral video smash, "Christmas With A Capital 'C,'" among other selections. Designed to give children a biblical understanding of Christmas, each lesson focuses on a new gift that comes as a result of God's ultimate Gift, Jesus.

"The idea to do The Gift Of Advent came from children's pastors who have used our Christmas music and have asked over and over again for videos and lessons to accompany it," said Go Fish founder Jamie Statema. "With the growing number of churches that have embraced our VBS materials, we felt the time was perfect to offer up our very first seasonal weekly curriculum."

The Gift Of Advent debuts on the heels of Go Fish's latest VBS curriculum, Praise, which was utilized in thousands of churches this summer and impacted an estimated total of more than 300,000 children. In support of their VBS resources, the group performed in Chicago; Minneapolis; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Montgomery, Alabama; among other locations this summer. Go Fish is also slated to appear September 2 at the 2012 LifeLight South Dakota Festival in Sioux Falls.

"We've been blown away by the response we've seen to our VBS series," Statema continues. "We believe that when we teach kids to have a high view of Scripture it leads to a high view of God. Kids and church leaders have responded to this approach in a huge way and we are more passionate than ever about teaching God's Word to the next generation."
