Nashville, Tenn. (May 21, 2013) - The last David Crowder*Band album, Give Us Rest (A Requiem Mass in C [The Happiest of All Keys]), debuted as the No. 2 record in the country and marked the highest selling debut for the band. Paired with an epic final performance at the Passion 2012 Conference, the release was the denouement to an impactful, multi-decade career. Now, fans of the David Crowder*Band can cherish their career in full with the release of the first DC*B Greatest Hits, All This For A King: The Essential Collection, today, May 21.
The 14-track album features some of the band's biggest songs, including "How He Loves," "O Praise Him (All This For A King)," "Everything Glorious," as well as three new remixed tracks from Family Force 5, Capital Kings and The Digital Age (consisting of former DC*B members Mike D., Jack Parker, Mark Waldrop and B-Wack). The album concludes with an all-new track from CROWDER, "This I Know."
Critics are already hailing the new Essential Collection as "brilliant," "unashamed," and a "solid collection of hits." Here's a snippet of the recognition:
The trendsetting worship troupe drops its first-ever greatest hits compilation and showcases Crowder's complacency shattering lyrics. - CCM

"No band in worship music was more creative and pushed boundaries of what could be considered worshipful music. For a career, David Crowder*Band earns five stars hands down." - Jesus Freak Hideout
"This is a brilliant greatest hits album, with every song being as strong as the next." - Louder Than the Music
"The best collection of music from one of my favorite Christian bands of all time… a great set of remixes celebrating familiar tunes and a fun sneak peak at the Crowder of the future." - More Than Dodgeball (Blog)
"If you have never owned a DCB record, this is the right place to start." - Breathecast
