Referencing the lyrics "strip everything away 'til all I have is You" from his song "Pursuit," Bashta launches the tour at the Salvation Army Church in Anaheim, Calif., on September 5 with stops in 19 states before concluding at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Burlington, NJ on November 18. A list of tour dates and cities follows below with information also available at "Strip Everything Away Tour".
"We had this dream of doing a tour that would not have a price tag on it," says Bashta. "In a culture driven by stadium stage glitz and glamour, our heart and mission for the night is that we are removing the noise of the circus to create space for God to speak… one night of worship and wonder, stripping everything away and pursuing the presence of God."
For Bashta, a "missionary kid" who grew up immersed in ministry all around the globe, speaking life and hope into a dark world has been a life-long passion. Educated at the Worship Institute of London and heavily influenced by the ministry of Soul Survivor, Bashta's path of ministry reads like a winding stream that eventually led him to his current role as worship pastor at RiverStone Church, just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
Along the way, Bashta has been writing songs that have become the heart cry for worshipers from different cultures and church backgrounds. In 2011, Integrity released his debut full-length album The Sounds of Daniel Bashta, packed with many of these songs, including "Like A Lion (God's Not Dead)" popularized by the Newsboys and "Pursuit" popularized by Jesus Culture. This year saw the release of The Invisible, which introduced more new songs including, "Praise The Invisible," "Undone" and "Let Hope In." Both albums resulted in acclaim from worship leaders, music fans and critics, earning Bashta kudos for his writing and vocals filled with raw conviction, courage and compassion and what Worship Leader magazine refers to as "vibrant lyrical poetry."
