For Immediate Release. Worship Leader's National Worship Leader Conference will start off with both strength and sizzle with a pre-conference dedicated to songwriting in the context of worship. Slated for February 24, from 12:30 to 4:00 PM in Carrollton, Texas, the Songwriters Creative Pre-conference is hosted at Bent Tree church.
NWLC Songwriter's Creative Pre-conference will feature teaching faculty that includes Jennie Lee Riddle, composer of "Revelation Song," one of the most sung and recorded songs in Church music today; Director of Song Discovery A&R, Phil Sillas, a songwriter and Dove Award-winning producer; and Chuck Fromm, former CEO and President of Maranatha! Music and founder of Worship Leader Media. They will also be joined by representatives from principal Christian record labels and publishers.
The day will roll out with keynotes on songwriting theology, exploring the general conference theme of Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs; followed by keynotes on the art of lyric writing, composition and ending with an industry panel that will listen to select songs from the attendees. Phil Sillas says, "Hearing these professionals speak into and evaluate songs is invaluable. No matter what songs are selected, everyone learns."
The conference is priced at $69.00. And with a FREE subscription (valued at $59), to Song Discovery, the leading resource for providing new worship music to churches, songwriters can't afford to miss it.
An added bonus is each attendee to the Songwriter's Creative Pre-conference will be entered in a random drawing, with a prize of an hour-long mentoring session with prominent songwriter, worship leader and chart-topping artist Meredith Andrews.
