
Family Force 5's Josh "Fatty" Olds may have just tied the knot a year or so ago, but his family grew unexpectedly when his mother-in-law passed on Sunday, March 9th. His wife has four teenage sisters and with the loss of his mother-in-law, the Olds were given custody of all of them. On Friday, Family Force 5 posted details about it, and asked fans to help with the financial strain of the super-sized Olds clan:
"To our amazing family:
Last Sunday, our bassist Josh (Fatty) unexpectedly lost his mother-in-law, Mary Kibel. As a result, he and his wonderful wife Ami have become the legal guardians of Mary’s 4 amazing daughters.In light of the memorial service, FF5 will not be performing on 3/20 in Canton, OH, or on 3/21 in Spring Arbor, MI.
