Family Force 5's Josh "Fatty" Olds may have just tied the knot a year or so ago, but his family grew unexpectedly when his mother-in-law passed on Sunday, March 9th. His wife has four teenage sisters and with the loss of his mother-in-law, the Olds were given custody of all of them. On Friday, Family Force 5 posted details about it, and asked fans to help with the financial strain of the super-sized Olds clan:
"To our amazing family:
Last Sunday, our bassist Josh (Fatty) unexpectedly lost his mother-in-law, Mary Kibel. As a result, he and his wonderful wife Ami have become the legal guardians of Mary’s 4 amazing daughters. In light of the memorial service, FF5 will not be performing on 3/20 in Canton, OH, or on 3/21 in Spring Arbor, MI.
A fund has been initiated to help the family cover the extensive financial strain through this transition. Please visit http://www.gofundme.com/kibelfamily if you feel led to contribute. We greatly appreciate your understanding through this difficult time, and we thank you for your prayers and encouragement for the Kibel family.
We love you all!
Family Force 5"
Please keep them in your prayers and prayerfully consider supporting them!
