April 2, 2014 (Nashville, TN) -- Erica Campbell's solo effort HELP, leads the Billboard Top Gospel Chart this week at Number 1. The album also lands on several other charts including Number 1 on Top Gospel & Christian (combined) and Number 6 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart.

This impressive debut marks Campbell's highest entry on the Top 200 Chart including her Mary Mary releases and the highest ever first week chart position for a female solo gospel artist. This successful week followed an extensive 2-week promotional run in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia, where Campbell made several television and radio appearances.

"We are extremely proud of the effort that Erica has put forth thus far and we are looking forward to bigger and greater things for her in the very near future. This type of amazing artist only comes along once in a blue moon," said Warryn Campbell CEO MyBlockInc.

"eOne Music celebrates Erica Campbell on the #1 debut of her new album, HELP," said Phil Thornton eOne Music VP Marketing & New Business Development. "Working together with Erica and My Block on the successful launch of her first solo record, HELP kicks off just the beginning in Erica's journey as a solo artist. Erica's breakthrough artistry continues to resonate with fans, and we are excited to continue developing Erica's ongoing success as one of music's most preeminent artists."

Released via MyBlock Inc./eOne Music, Campbell's debut has been one of the most talked about and anticipated releases all year. Campbell's hit title track "Help" currently sits at Number 7 on the Gospel radio chart, #18 on the UAC Mediabase Chart and her video has been in continuous rotation at VH1 and VH1 Soul. She will cap off her long promotional tour this week when she takes the stage solo for the first time at two sold-out shows in Washington DC (The Howard Theatre) and New York City (BB Kings).

Campbell can be seen performing her Grammy® nominated single "A Little More Jesus" on BET's Celebration of Gospel music special airing this Sunday, April 6 at 8p/7c. Campbell will also hit the road this summer as she headlines the McDonald's 2014 Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour with Anthony Brown & group therAPy and comedian Jonathan Slocumb.

A special 2-disc CD/DVD edition of HELP is available only at Walmart. The limited edition package features a number of extras, including the "Help" companion video and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at WE tv's smash Mary Mary.
