
Nashville, TN, January 14, 2015 -Yesterday, critic-favorite and Dove Award-winning Male Vocalist of the Year, Chris August, released a brand new single and music video (which are available for purchase at iTunes) in preparation for the launch of his third studio album set to release April 7, 2015.
"The Maker," the first single and title track from the upcoming record, which went to radio on Friday, January 9, garnered an incredible 44 stations on add date. The official music video, which was shot at Olympic National Park in the northwestern corner of Washington State with Skies Fall Media Group, released yesterday on YouTube. The stunning display of God's work in nature and transparent glimpse into Chris's personal journey of healing, recovery and faith has overwhelmed fans, who have been sharing their thoughts on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
Chris closed out 2014 with a successful run with the K-LOVE Christmas tour, which sold out 13 of the 18 shows. This week, he joins fellow artists Mandisa, Newsboys and Casting Crowns on the 2015 K-LOVE cruise.
