Manchild, one-half of Mars Ill and founding member of collective Deepspace 5, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new solo album titled Red Bird Day. Visit the video above to hear Manchild talk about the project and what's been going on in his life in recent years.
On Kickstarter, the hip hop artist wrote, "'Red Bird Day' marks the next chapter for Manchild. Your participation in his story and this project is paramount to its success and its creation for the world to hear." His goal is $15,000 with just under a month left to raise the funds.
Visit his campaign page for a list of ways you can join in and help. There are some great options, including one where you can get his entire catalog off of Bandcamp for $50 with his new project!
