(Reach Records; Atlanta, GA; May 25, 2018) - WHATUPRG, the up-and-coming rapper, writer, producer and newest artist to join Reach Records, announces the release of his debut EP Pleasant Hill. Arriving today (May 25), the 7-track project is now available for purchase and streaming across all DSPs here. Aptly titled, Pleasant Hill, WHATUPRG invites fans and new listeners to go on a personal journey with him, “I live off Pleasant Hill. It’s where I’m at right now,” he explains. “I think that’s what this whole project means to me. It’s not perfect or where I want to be, but it’s me right now.” Primarily written and produced by the multi-hyphenate artist himself, WHATUPRG is aiming for the fences. On Pleasant Hill, he delivers an eclectic and ambient soundscape intertwined with an intentional message that nothing can separate us from the love of God, or as RG simply states, “You’re never far enough.” The son of Mexican immigrant parents, WHATUPRG is a native of Atlanta, GA. Forever representing Gwinnett County, you may recognize WHATUPRG from his work with the 4-artist collective, indie.tribe, as well as his recent contribution to the 116 single “Light Work.” For more information on WHATUPRG, be sure to follow @WHATUPRG on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
