Altared was birthed out of the moments when God allowed a variation in my life’s situations in an effort to drive me back to the literal Altar. He allowed this so I could see and experience Him again, for the first time. On this album, I wanted to take songs people might know in one way and Alter them so they hear them again...for the first time. My hope is that with this variation the listener will be drawn into the presence of God in a new way.”
