July 29, 2019 (Springdale, Arkansas) – “Quench,” the new single off the eponymous debut album from Humble Feet, is being released today to Christian AC and Worship-formatted radio outlets. “I wrote ‘Quench’ while serving Jesus in full-time ministry in a foreign nation, a nation that is almost completely desert,” said Michael Taylor, Humble Feet’s founder and frontman. “The land is as spiritually dry as it is physically. However, a massive river flows through the middle of the country. This is the only true source of water for millions of people who call that desert home!” “Jesus tells us that He is the living water. However, in lands where water is in abundance, we often take for granted the life that come from fresh water. We trade it in for other things that we think will better satisfy our thirst. In the end, however, those things only lead to death,” said Taylor. “Jesus is the only source of true life! He made us for the river.” Taylor produced the single with Noah Neumann. A lyric video for “Quench” is available at YouTube. The 10-track album, “Humble Feet,” is available on all digital platforms, including iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and Apple Music. “Each of these songs was inspired by the Holy Spirit in my heart as I served in ministry and studied the Bible and encountered people that needed Jesus and the lost,” Taylor said. “I would dig into the Bible and find meanings to different things that I had been experiencing or I felt the Holy Spirit highlighting to me and my heart. That would slowly form into this song. “Actually each of these songs is less of worship music and more of a mini sermon, a message of my heart from the field that the Lord has given me specifically from my experiences in ministry and from my walk with Jesus,” he said. Taylor and his wife currently serve in a foreign nation, planting the church and ministering in one of the most difficult regions on earth. These songs, Taylor said, were birthed out of real experiences, difficulties and spiritual victories while serving Jesus on the other side of the world. “We pray that this music project would inspire hope, challenge you spiritually and help you to grasp God’s heart for the nations,” Taylor said. “As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’” In addition to finding the debut album on digital platforms, physical copies can be purchased directly from Humble Feet by emailing humblefeet[at]gmail.com.
