Written by Cochren along with producer Bryan Fowler (for Man Cub Music House) and Matt Armstrong, "One Day" was recorded at Zach Brown’s Southern Ground Studios in Nashville and engineered by Joe Baldridge (Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley). The song features award-winning musicians drummer Paul Mabury (Lauren Daigle), bass player Jacob Lowery (Michael McDonald), Christopher Stevens, Mike Payne, and more. The new single also features the B-side song, “Heart and Soul (The Sienna Session),” also written by Michael Cochren along with Taylor Agan and Justin Amundrud.
