Greg LaFollette announces the release of his fourth record of music for the church, I’ll Wait For You, My Love, on April 3, 2020. I’ll Wait For You, My Love is a strongly themed follow up to trailblazing, traditional worship artist Greg LaFollette’s 2018 record Songs of Common Prayer and 2019’s HOLYWEEK, Vol 1. The full length album reinforces LaFollette’s mission to provide congregational worship resources to the Church. Joined by a talented band of Nashville musicians and featuring collaborators like Jason Gray, Mission House, and Alisa Turner; he continues his passion for addressing the needs of church communities. While the record is written from venerable hymn texts, this production breathes fresh, accessible melodic sense into the well-worn songs. LaFollette has been involved in more than one hundred records in his career. He has worked with Andrew Peterson, Audrey Assad, Sara Groves, Leslie Jordan of All Sons and Daughters, Robbie Seay Band and many others. He has been featured in multiple prominent podcasts and published in CCM Magazine, The Rabbit Room, Relevant Magazine, and The Gospel Coalition. His previous records have garnered much attention and have been supported by church partnerships across the US. LaFollette has had multiple placements in international advertising campaigns, and has contributed many songs to others’ records. Known for his vulnerable and veracious vocal approach, simple and effective production, and beautiful melodic sense; his conviction to equip the Church is palpable: “I want to help people increase the intimacy in their relationship with God. I believe that vulnerable knowing and being known is a supreme act of worship." Greg LaFollette is an artist and spiritual director in Nashville,TN.
