Today, Switchfoot announced that they'll be releasing a brand new cover song EP next month on Friday, June 19th. Their first single, a cover of a Frank Ocean song, "Swim Good," will release this Friday, May 29th.

Greetings friends,

With all of the drastic changes we've all encountered the past few months, there has been one constant - music.

We've found moments of peace, stability, joy, cathartic release through the simple act of singing songs. Old songs, new ones, and even songs we didn’t write ourselves. 

In fact, covering other folks songs has helped to remind me of a world bigger than the four walls of my own personal quarantine. During this strange, unsettling time of isolation at home we could all use a reminder of what it means to be alive, to be in community, to be human. 

So let’s go on a journey together! Let’s go around the world, even if we can’t leave the house. We've collected half a dozen of the songs of others. Different voices. Different opinions. Different ethnicities. Different races. 

This diverse collection of songs is an attempt to express a truly universal language that reaches outside the confines of our own homes, an open handed embrace of all of the unique idiosyncrasies within the human tribe. 

The first track is, "Swim Good", a Frank Ocean tune and it releases this Friday! We'll be dropping a new track every week until the whole EP is released June 19th so keep your ears tuned in!

Even if we can’t be in the same room, our job description remains the same: to bring people together. We love you, hope you dig these tunes!
