June 10, 2020: At a time when many are looking for answers, “Evidence” is a musical testament of how God uses us to show his love to the world. An original contemporary Christian song written by Krissy Nordhoff and Jessica Sirls, “Evidence” will premiere on June 12th, 2020. Pulling from their own experiences and walk, Krissy Nordohoff (GMA Dove Award-Winner and writer of many well-loved songs including “Your Great Name”, “Mercy Tree”, “Famous For (I Believe)” for artists including Natalie Grant, Mandisa, Tauren Wells, Corey Voss) and CCM Songwriter Jessica Sirls, explore the mysterious and miraculous ways God moves in our lives.?

“Sometimes we cry out for a move of God only to find ourselves already full of Him in amazing, sometimes surprising ways,” Krissy says. “Once you begin to see His fingerprints, you only notice them more and more. Our lives truly are the greatest evidence of His love, peace, and power!”

?Jessica recently shared her testimony with Krissy at a session in Nashville. She was in awe of the things God was doing in her life and the “imprints” she carried in her heart as evidence that God is real. That time of opening up led to heartfelt prayer by the piano in Krissy’s basement, and ultimately to the release of this song showing how imperfect people can point to a perfect creator.

“To be a witness for God does not mean we need to be perfect; the Bible is full of examples of God using imperfect people,” Jessica says. “We need to be willing and available. When we’re vulnerable enough to share our own testimonies, including our flaws and mess-ups, we can show how big and faithful our God is.”

A storyteller since childhood, Jessica Sirls began writing songs professionally in 2016, after sensing a call from God to leave her job in journalism to pursue a music career. She began to sense this calling after her first song, “Rest In You,” was placed in “The Reason,” a film inspired by a book written by her uncle, who is a Christian author; doors continued to open as Jessica became Music Director for the film, soon crossing paths with John Hartley (Producer/Composer for artists including Matt Redman, Michael Neale, Leigh Nash), the producer behind “Evidence,” in Nashville, TN.

When it comes to songwriting, Jessica believes relationships are the first priority, followed closely by the emotional and spiritual connection shared by those with which she writes music. As someone who enjoys celebrating the success of her peers, Jessica values the opportunity to do life with other songwriters and the creative process. Through shared vision, brought forth in fellowship, “Evidence” is a prophetic outpouring of God’s redemptive love.?

Joining songwriters Krissy Nordhoff and Jessica Sirls in this contemporary Christian song, “Evidence”, is Singer/Songwriter Lori Triplett (Vocals), and Matt Gilder (Programming and Keys - Chris Tomlin).

Listen to “Evidence” and discover the often unseen and unspoken ways God continues to move.
