(ATLANTA, GA) – November 27, 2020 – Just in time for the holidays, celebrated rising gospel music star and Summerville, South Carolina native, Kelontae Gavin, offers a brand-new EP, “Hold Me Close: EP Experience.” The long-awaited 4-track EP is now available at all major digital retail and streaming outlets. The lead single, “Hold Me Close” is co-written by Kelontae Gavin, Marquis Boone and TedyP; and produced by Marquis Boone, TedyP and Quantez Blount. The title lead single, “Hold Me Close,” is currently #6 on Billboard Gospel’s National Airplay Chart.

“Hold Me Close: EP Experience” showcases Kelontae Gavin’s signature powerhouse vocals and continues to solidify him as a millennial worship leader unafraid to proclaim his faith. The single “Hold Me Close” marks the follow up to his Billboard Top 5 breakthrough radio smash, "No Ordinary Worship," which spent 53 weeks on Billboard's Gospel Airplay Top 30 chart, crossed over onto mainstream radio spending multiple weeks on Billboard's Adult R&B Airplay Top 40 chart, and generated over 15 million streams.

Kelontae Gavin’s debut album release The Higher Experience (MBE/Tyscot/WMG), reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and earned him four Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations. Kelontae Gavin became a viral sensation in 2014 after he was recorded singing the Rev. Paul Jones’ classic “I Won’t Complain.” He went on to sign a record deal with celebrated hitmaker Marquis Boone of MBE Enterprises.
