ATLANTA, Ga. - Earlier this month, platinum-selling artist and award-winning songwriter Dante Bowe announced his sophomore album circles will officially hit shelves March 26th. The upcoming album contains some of Dante’s most candid work to date, as Dante explores themes of gratitude, forgiveness, perseverance, and understanding. Drawing sonic inspiration from the music from his childhood - nineties-style R&B, foot-stomping soul, and skyscraping gospel, circles encompasses everything that makes Dante who he is while setting out to inspire others. circles is now available to pre-order and pre-save HERE.
On circles, Dante has created a body of work that tells the story of his family as well as his own personal journey of self-discovery from homelessness to hits. With resounding optimism and a full choir, Dante hits a celebratory groove and seizes the moment on lead single “joyful.” “okay [feat. Trevor Jackson]” speaks to Dante’s personal challenges, evoking themes of tenacity and determination within the soulful duet. In a shining moment on circles, “family tree” sees Dante passionately explore how generations before him cleared the way for better opportunities, proving over the strains of soft piano “that things get better.” circles was produced by Dante along with LAEL and Ben Schofield.
To coincide with the announcement, Dante will be airing a virtual concert performance of select songs from the album on Wednesday, March 24th. Those that register for the circles // live event will be treated to intimate arrangements of select album tracks before release date. Tickets are free – fans can reserve their tickets for the concert experience by going to www.dantebowe.com.
