Today, Fri., May 28, RIAA PLATINUM-selling artist Crowder shares the latest song off his forthcoming ‘Milk & Honey’ album, “The Anchor.” Written by Crowder, “The Anchor” is an emotional plea for humans to hold on to their anchor when consumed by darkness. With a powerful gritty texture in his voice accompanied by a dramatic piano, the song's dark and cinematic tone builds to a climatic moment in the last chorus, urging all to come home.
“This song has been resonating deeply with me, and I am thrilled to finally get to share it with you,” says Crowder. “I hope as you listen you are reminded that even in times of hopelessness, there is an ANCHOR."
Crowder’s single “Good God Almighty” has notched the #1 spot on several charts including the Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs, Christian Airplay (currently third week in a row reigning No. 1), Christian AC Monitored and Christian AC Indicator Charts, as well as the Mediabase Christian AC and Mediabase Christian Audience Charts. It’s nominated for Song of the Year for Sunday’s (5.30) K-LOVE Fan Awards, where Crowder is also a Male Artist of the Year nominee.
Fans can see Crowder perform “The Anchor” and more songs from the ‘Milk & Honey’ album during his 30+ date ‘Milky & Honey Tour’ this Fall. For tickets and more information, visit crowdermusic.com.
