Justin Bieber and Maverick City Music Join Forces for Worship Session

On the Heels of Billboard Music Award Win (Top Gospel Album) + Breaking Streaming Records at Spotify and Apple Music

Recently, Justin Bieber and Chandler Moore of the Billboard No.1 worship group Maverick City Music joined together for a worship session from Churchome in Kirkland, Washington. Performing a number of songs – including Maverick’s “Jireh” (over 13M streams on YouTube), “How He Loves,” and Justin Bieber’s “Where Do I Fit In” – the two seamlessly connect emotionally and spiritually to the core themes of the music, God’s love.

Maverick City Music recently made headlines for their Top Gospel Album Billboard Music Award win for the April 2020 release of Maverick City Vol. 3 Part 1. The group earned double nods in the category and was also a finalist for Top Gospel Artist. Their newest release Old Church Basement, a collab album with Elevation Worship, broke streaming records at both Apple Music and Spotify. On Apple Music, the group set a new worldwide record for the most first-day streams for a Christian and Gospel album, and on Spotify, the album broke the U.S. record for the most streams in a day for an album by a Christian group and was No. 4 out of all U.S. albums its first weekend of release.

The Billboard Music Award-winning group is currently gearing up for their next project Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition, which includes features and collaborations from some of thee biggest names in music – Justin Bieber, P. Diddy, Tori Kelly and more. More details on Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition are forthcoming.

This upcoming fall, Maverick City Music will embark on its first-ever tour and the 90 minute shows will feature electrifying performances with collective members Dante Bowe, Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine, Joe L. Barnes, Aaron Moses and more. Capacity for the venues ranges from 3,000-8,000, and all Covid-related protocols will be observed. Currently, 11 out of the 12 tour dates are sold out.
