CAPE COD, Massachusetts - After some time away from the music studio, Kim Gentry Meyer teams up with producer Karl Anderson of Anchour Studio and Vineyard USA lyric co-writer Adam Russell to release her fresh new single, We Surrender to Love (Remix). Kim’s vocal approach is most often described as a cross between Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks. “I'm now really focusing my writing on worship and faith-based music, because music ministry is incredibly important to me,” says Kim. Due to the mental impact of the coronavirus pandemic, she feels people are connecting with their families and faith more than ever. She wanted to give her fans a song that can help them through the difficult times.
We Surrender to Love (Remix) gives the listener a chance to really reflect on their relationship with God and to look to what He is doing in their lives. Kim believes that God is always with us and always leading us if we will only take the time to look and hear from Him.
Kim’s past music achievements include original song, “How I Wanna Be,” which won Best Group/Duo at the 9th Annual IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards), was showcased at the Bluebird Cafe, WoodyFest, and SXSW, and scored a second-place win in the 2013 Woody Guthrie Songwriting Contest.
