When Justin McRoberts made his musical debut in the late 90's, he was signed to 5 Minute Walk Records, home to artists like Five Iron Frenzy and The W's. Justin has spent the majority of the past two decades on his own, residing in the indie music circuit, and releasing a couple book projects as well.
This week, McRoberts hit Kickstarter to fund a new musical venture, an EP in the same vein as 2008's Deconstruction. About the project, Justin says " Please help me put together a new collection of songs! Written around the same thoughts and energies behind the album Deconstruction, these songs are informed and inspired by recent conversations with people moving from deconstructive processes toward newness."
The amount he needs is only $5,000 to cover production expenses, and at the time that this goes to print, he's already over $1,000.
