Fresh from her Austin SXSW appearance, Top 5 iTunes artist Lady Redneck is releasing a personal plea for an end to the Ukraine-Russia war. On April 22nd, the Christian country singer-songwriter from Dallas will release “Pray For Peace.” It is the self-penned follow-up to her #3 UK iTunes single, “After The Rain, You’ll Find The Son.”

This is not the “Blonde Bombshell’s” first foray into the political forum. Her single, “Don’t Try to Take our Guns Away” was also a #8 iTunes hit overseas, racking up more than 40K spotify streams. In total, the singer has over 100K streams on the platform.

Despite her good looks and “over-the-top” persona, Lady Redneck has proved that she’s nobody’s fool. Her methods of crowd-funding have enabled her to record and release new music with the help of her devoted fanbase. She has also given back to the community by teaching her methods to other indie artists looking to walk in her footsteps.
