Nashville, Tenn. (August 5, 2022) -- Two-time #1 charted songwriter and producer Jimmy Thrasher, along with his business partner and wife Melissa, are proud to announce their signing with CDX Records/Sony Orchard for distribution of their labels under the Thrasher Sound, LLC umbrella.

Jimmy notched his first #1 by co-writing and co-producing “Modern Day Wonder Woman” with Cameron Dubois, and the second with “Gotta Look Up” by Katie Barbour. Both singles landed the top position on the CDX TRACTion Southern Gospel and Positive Country nationally monitored radio chart.

In their new venture with CDX Records/Sony Orchard, Jimmy and Melissa will be working in partnership with long-term co-writers, co-producers, and artists, including Katie Barbour, Lisa Jason, and others, to deliver songs to the growing marketplace that are both inspirational and encouraging.

Jimmy states, “Melissa and I are excited to have the opportunity to now be working with Joe and Ally Kelly and all the wonderful people at CDX Records, Nashville. It is a true blessing, one for which we are very grateful for.”

Jimmy and Melissa have also found success with their music publishing company, Thrasher Sound Publishing with the three-week #1 “LIVE,” by the duo, Curtis & Stokes. The single was released on Thrasher Sound Records, giving them three #1 hits on their label, which has also notched numerous other charted records.

In addition to being music business owners, Jimmy and Melissa are ordained ministers who serve God through Christian life coaching, grief support, evangelism, and missions. Their Christian Life Coaching Ministry produces a podcast show, Christian Life Coaching by Jimmy & Melissa Thrasher. The show was recently named one of the top Christian life coaching podcasts by Feedspot.com.

Their evangelism and missions ministry, Silent Witness, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Performing Arts Ministry and is a voice for the abandoned, abused, bullied, and mistreated. Jimmy co-writes and co-produces songs for Silent Witness to use for their various projects. Silent Witness Inc has a long and successful history of reaching across denominational boundaries to carry the good news of Jesus Christ into many settings and venues.
