New York-based Christian singer-songwriter and recording artist Sarai Korpacz is an artist who truly inspires. Building off the momentum of several successful releases in a row over the last year plus, the interest in her work continues to rise. Sarai understands the true power of worship. She gave her life to Christ at the early age of six and started writing poems and songs as a teenager. As an adult, Sarai has an educational background in law and finance. Her music showcases not just her heavenly voice but also her ability as a songwriter to take Biblical ideas and translate them in a way that listeners can relate to and enjoy as she educates.

She creates upbeat, positive Christian music that spreads a simple message: worship God in spirit and truth. "He is always there, no matter how rough the road is,” Korpacz shares. “Scepter,” the latest worship track from Sarai, drops on August 15, 2022. In the new single, Korpacz continues innovating within the faith-based music space through her ear-catching melodies, scripture-inspired lyrics, and thought-provoking videography.

A standout among Korpacz’s catalog, she, and her collaborators, specifically created “Scepter” in hymn form to cultivate a sense of reverence and reflection in the listener. The subdued style and relaxed tempo make for an introspective devotional song built around moving vocal arrangements and contemporary instrumentation.

In the lyric video that accompanies “Scepter,” the song’s words and choral backing pair with evocative imagery of chapels, pews, stained glass windows, and architectural features from a range of sacred Christian settings. The song takes inspiration from James 2:13, which states that mercy triumphs over judgment. Korpacz elaborates, “It’s a call for reverence to God. He is a mighty God, and yet He is merciful and gracious and kind.”

The song is produced by Bonel Birmingham with backing vocals from Wilkinson Theodore and Palmyre Seraphin. Both the song and lyric video dropped on August 15, 2022.
