NASHVILLE, Tenn. January 25, 2023  — Sky Hymnal releases new single and video, "It is Well" featuring steeples around the US.

Sky Hymnal's “It is Well” releases after two years of filming. Sky Hymnal creator, Keith Stancil, shares “The concept of Sky Hymnal was birthed a couple years ago when we filmed the steeple at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville. That was our first steeple to film with a drone and we were wow’d by its magnificence. Woodmont Christian Church's steeple towers as a beacon for the Green Hills area and can be seen from most parts of Nashville. From the moment we saw the footage we captured, we knew there would be a steeples video and that magnificent steeple would be our closing shot.”

Over the next two years, Stancil, began filming steeples across the country in Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio, Texas and California. “The beauty of the steeples and what they represent really moves the soul with an overwhelming peace making the ever popular hymn, “It Is Well,” the perfect song to accompany the video.

Sky Hymnal can simply be described as a guitar, a drone and a hymn. Merging beautiful ambient guitar arrangements of hymns with drone video footage of landscape and architecture, creates a video experience that serves as both a resource for the church and personal enjoyment for individuals.
