Aug 7, 2023 – Nashville, TN – Red Street Records took the 2023 Big Machine Music City Grand Prix by storm with official performances by six out of their eight rostered artists including an additional national anthem performance by CEO Jay DeMarcus alongside Jason Crabb and lead vocalist and bass player for the multi-platinum band Chicago and Generation Radio’s Jason Scheff.
Red Street opened the weekend with an upbeat, energetic set by RSR Country’s flagship artist Ryan Griffin on Friday afternoon. Fans heard Ryan’s hit “Salt, Lime & Tequila” as well as brand new songs off his new EP Phases, including his current climbing single “Heart to Break.” Neon Union followed Ryan with a Saturday morning show on the iHeart stage to kick-off an eventful day of racing. The duo’s Andrew Millsaps and Leo Brooks had the crowd rocking out to the party-anthems and country love songs off their brand new EP Double Wide Castle Sessions.
The artists of Red Street Christian held a special takeover of The Fish Nashville stage on Sunday morning for a worship service before the races commenced. The service kicked off with Dallas-based, bi-lingual artist Iveth Luna, who led fans in the singing of “How Great Is Our God” and her current single “Just Like Jesus.” Cade Thompson followed directly after, firing up the crowd with his rising single “Good God,” followed by #2 charted CCM group Consumed By Fire. GRAMMY-award winning Jason Crabb closed out the service with his hit song “Good Morning Mercy,” and emcee and Red Street CEO Jay DeMarcus sent fans off for an exciting day at the races.
Label CEO Jay DeMarcus shares, “I couldn’t be more proud to have Red Street Records represented so strongly at this year’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix. Our artists absolutely crushed it, and I’m incredibly honored over the opportunity to open the race singing the national anthem alongside my good friends Jason Crabb and Jason Scheff. What a great weekend!!”
