Steven Curtis Chapman has never been one to forsake his good ole boy roots in Paducah, Kentucky, and he looks to be honoring them in a big way on his upcoming Spring tour. Today, Steven announced his tour's opening act in an amusing post on social media that showed him donning a white cowboy hat and red ribbon bow tie performing in a trio.

Steven wrote, "Well, I was gonna try to keep it a secret, but the Kentucky boy in me just had to let the cat (or the possum in this case) out of the bag! One of the many reasons I'm super excited about my Spring tour is the fact that I'm gonna have Cousin Curtis & The Possums open for me! Just trust me... you do NOT wanna miss this! We'll see you soon!"
