Miami, FL - “At that time you were without Christ, excluded from the citizenship of Israel, and foreigners to the covenants of promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” [Ephesians 2:12-13]

As the first glimmer of light began to shine on the third day, darkness tightened its grip as it tried to hold on to an empty victory. While death may have had its moment, life still had its promise. What felt like crushing despair had no choice but to give-way to everlasting hope. That which was tarnished and had been marked for destruction was now made holy. The savior that death intended to kill was no longer found inside a borrowed tomb, instead He was surely alive. Victory was His as the enemy’s sting no longer was found. A Friday of mourning became good as the curse that plagued mankind was lifted.

“My goal with these two poems is to seek to encourage others and provide hope in the midst of darkness.” - Spoken Worth

Spoken Worth debuts his double-release, Holy Week, across digital streaming platforms on March 29, 2024.

Holy Week features two new poems from the Florida-based spoken word artist which highlights the death and resurrection of Jesus. The poems, “Good Friday” and “The Curse Is Lifted,” are paired with two powerful visuals that help to drive home the power of God to provide against all odds.

While the Easter story may be one of the most well-known events throughout the world, there remains a need to be reminded of the finer details of that account that can be simply glanced over due to the power of it all. Those details are what Spoken Worth highlights so well with Holy Week.

Christ’s death is not only a means of salvation, but it removed the very thing that had kept us separated from our Creator. The curse that mankind had chosen for himself was removed and along with it went our sin. Spoken Worth beautifully describes this transition in what is a vital entry to his body of work as an artist.

Making the release even more special is the fact that Spoken Worth spearheaded each creative aspect of this release from start to finish.

Writing, recording, and production of the poems were all done by Spoken Worth, showcasing his multiple talents and the growth of the creative abilities of one of the most promising Christian artists today.

Holy Week is a release that will not only inspire listeners during the Easter season, but will encourage believers throughout the entire year!

Be sure to add “Good Friday” and “The Curse Is Lifted” to your personal playlists.

He has been blessed to share the gospel through poetry in more than 23 states and 50 different cities. From coffeehouse shows alongside Levi the Poet to some of the largest Christian youth conferences in the country (Winterfest - Gatlinburg, TN & Arlington, TX), he is known for putting on an intimate, personable, and captivating show.

Spoken Worth believes in speaking life, love, and Jesus into the lives of others. He is creating connection and relationship through music and story-telling. Seeing people as human, flawed, broken, and wounded, his spoken word poetry aims to tell the story of his wounds to help others find healing as well.
