Sandusky, OH - “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he richly poured out on us with all wisdom and understanding.” [Ephesians 1:7-8]
A major struggle for many individuals is dealing with the blame that comes from poor decisions and bad choices. For many, this shame can begin to define them. Too many people are searching for a fresh start, but are doing so in all of the wrong places. With his sacrifice at Calvary, Christ took our transgressions on himself and chose to bear the consequence of death as a result. He gave us an opportunity to look at our past mistakes and declare, It Ain’t My Fault.
“Being that the blood of Christ is the major theme, I wanted to re-release this song near Easter as we all remember that we are saved by Christ’s shed blood and his death on the cross.” - iNTELLECT
iNTELLECT’s latest revised single, It Ain’t My Fault, hits digital streaming platforms on Good Friday (March 29, 2024).
iNTELLECT is once again digging through the crates. The Ohio emcee is breathing new life into his classic album ‘Roots’ and the record It Ain’t My Fault is setting the tone of the project’s creative facelift.
The song was originally penned with the intent to emphasize two points. 1: That only by Christ’s blood is there remission of sin; and 2: Christians are called to be an influence in the world that we live. That same spirit is alive and well in this 2024 version of the record. iNTELLECT worked alongside producer Brokenfinga and DJ Grubbernaut to deliver a fresh listening experience for his dedicated fans who have been with him for the long-haul.
New listeners are certain to be captivated by the hard-hitting, horn-driven sound as iNTELLECT spits bold and gospel-centric lyrics in his verses. The desire to continually grow in his craft is a characteristic that has pushed iNTELLECT to the forefront of the underground Christian rap scene.
It Ain’t My Fault is a great addition to any workout/hype/get-inspired playlist. Be sure to add it to yours!
