Detroit, MI - “Each of the four living creatures had six wings; they were covered with eyes around and inside. Day and night they never stop, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come.” [Revelation 4:8]
Detroit’s multifaceted emcee, Dex the Nerd Who Loves Jesus, is crying out to a wandering world with his latest single, Yes Lord.
Following a path similar to John the Baptist, Dex is pointing souls to the cross of Christ while praising the Savior for all that He has done. The track’s bravado is fueled by an assuredness that God is the I Am that He proclaimed.
Working once again alongside of producer Praise, Yes Lord is a powerful anthem for the saints.
A heavy bassline meets an angelic choir to create the record’s sound-bed. The various elements come together to create a song that is worthy of being included on the soundtrack of Christ’s return. While no man knows the time of that highly anticipated event, we have the opportunity to live out our days in worship and reverence of the one who has redeemed us.
Dex has been grinding throughout the year and shows no sign of slowing down. This new single is the latest in what has been a showcasing of the myriad of dimensions that exist within Dex’s creative arsenal. Plenty more is sure to be on the way, maybe along with a few unexpected surprises thrown in for good measure.
Yes Lord releases to digital streaming platforms on April 12, 2024.
Make sure to add the record to your favorite playlist!
