If you were a hardcore kid in the mid-2000s, then you were no doubt obsessed with Victory Records. Well, one of the iconic label's premiere bands of that time, Before There Was Rosalyn, is back with their new EP "Hypocrites" via The Charon Collective. The Houston, TX-based melodic hardcore outfit delivers their first new music in over 15 years and sounds even more relevant now in our present day atmosphere of worldwide and personal disarray and uncertainty.

Bridging a fifteen-year gap between releases, Before There Was Rosalyn is back with their upcoming EP "HYPOCRITES." They might be older, but the Houston, TX quintet still goes off harder than they ever did and they're still fueled by faith and passion. What you get is a fresh take on the mid-2000s brand of metalcore and post-hardcore that was the soundtrack for our youth and a revolution.
