DALLAS, TX – August 23, 2024 – Singer-songwriter Stephanie “Lady Redneck” Lee is set to touch hearts everywhere with the release of her latest single, “A Child of God.” This powerful song, inspired by her personal journey of healing and self-rediscovery, underscores the message of divine worth and unconditional love from God.
After a traumatic experience left her feeling “broken,” Lady Redneck found solace and restoration through her faith in Jesus Christ. “A Child of God” is a testament to her journey of healing and serves as an encouragement to anyone who feels they’ve made too many mistakes to be forgiven. The song resonates with the belief that everyone deserves peace, joy, and wholeness.
In a unique twist, the song features the harmonious voices of children, including her 10-year-old daughter, Brynn Lee, who sings a poignant part in the last verse. “After I recorded it, I got the rough draft back, and it didn’t seem right,” says Stephanie. “I listened and thought of a lot of changes I could make but none of it resonated. A couple days later, it hit me. This song needed children singing! We called up a few of Brynn Lee’s friends and sent them the music. The last verse is them singing, and it almost brings tears to my eyes! The last little voice, by herself, is my 10-year-old daughter, Brynn Lee. It means so much to have her singing on one of my songs!”
With her rich musical background, Lady Redneck, who hails from a small musical family in Idaho, has captivated audiences with her genuine storytelling and unique blend of country and Christian music. Her previous hits, including “I Dented Your Truck” and “Pray for Peace,” have garnered significant chart success, solidifying her place in the music industry. Lady Redneck is a 2024 Prayze Factor Award Nominee and a Josie Music Awards nominee.
Lady Redneck hopes this song touches hearts and inspires listeners to feel their divine worth and embrace the love of God, no matter their past. For more information, please visit www.ladyredneck.org
