CHARLOTTE, N.C (September 10, 2024) — Glory Foods, a ready-to-eat brand of fully seasoned Southern-style vegetables, proudly announces the release of "What Feeds Your Soul? The Gospel Music Edition" to aptly illustrate its latest contest and to celebrate Gospel Music Heritage Month.
The “What Feeds Your Soul?” contest encourages people to share their personal stories, meaningful experiences and favorite dishes that uplift and sustain them in their daily lives. Around a dozen winners with compelling, authentic entries will be featured on social media and receive free Glory Foods products for a year.
The short film captures the contest’s inspirational spirit through interviews with Blu Lucas & Music of Detroit, EPiC Choir of Atlanta, and Royalty Priesthood & Voices of Life Fellowship Chorale of Charlotte, N.C, during How Sweet The Sound, America’s #1 Gospel music Competition, on June 1 in Atlanta.
“We had an incredible opportunity with the Small Choir Competition, which Glory Foods sponsored, to ask these amazing musicians and singers what feeds their souls,” said Brian Hodges, Brand Manager for McCall Farms. “And there was no better time to launch it than during Gospel Music Heritage Month.”
The energy backstage, paired with electric rehearsals and devotion to their craft, made for heartfelt answers. “Through ‘What Feeds Your Soul? The Gospel Music Edition,’ we aim to celebrate the transformative power of music, faith, and community,” said Hodges. “In less than three minutes, the film not only highlights the beauty of Gospel music but also invites individuals to reflect on what nourishes them from within.”
Each choir will receive a donation of Glory Foods products to share with its community.
