Oct. 25, 2024 (FRANKLIN, Tenn.) – Sarah Kroger unveils the deluxe edition of her momentous album, “A New Reality.” The new release adds five bonus tracks to her deeply personal and hope-instilling album including brand-new songs, a feature from Leeland on “Giving Up,” and a crisp radio version of “Still Yours.”

Coming back to her most vulnerable project yet with fresh perspective, Kroger sheds more light on the need to offer songs for silent strugglers, the closet doubters, and anyone who has felt alone in their spiritual battles. She achieved this by mixing reflective tunes with congregational songs, inviting listeners to the One who makes space for the intimate in the infinite. The 15-track album has an overall bright folk pop feel laced with contemplative and ethereal sounds.

“’A New Reality’ was such a significant album in my artistic and spiritual journey,” Kroger shared.“With over 70 songs written for it, I couldn’t just release 10! I hope these bonus tracks lead listeners deeper into the wonder and mystery of God.”

With “A New Reality (Deluxe),” Kroger reaffirms that a depth of vulnerability and introspection can lead to awe at God’s mystery, not away from it. She encourages the Church to approach conversations around faith and doubt, allowing God to mend the tangled threads of one’s unraveling into a reconstructed picture again.

In addition to the deluxe album, Kroger just released a two-part episode with Leeland on her podcast, “No Filters.” She is also closing 2024 with multiple collaborations; featuring on Paul Baloche’s Christmas release, “Angels We Have Heard On High/Glorious,” releasing on November 22, and collaborating with Sanctus Real on an upcoming single. Kroger is also joining Matt Maher on the “CATHEDRALS” tour this Advent season.

ABOUT SARAH KROGER

Sarah Kroger is a GMA Dove Award nominated artist, songwriter, worship leader, and part of the female collective FAITHFUL. With her previously released albums Your Time (2011), Hallelujah Is Our Song (2013), Bloom (2019), Light (2020), and London Sessions (2023), her latest project is A New Reality (2024).

With parents involved in worship ministry, Kroger’s love for music was sparked at a young age, but the impact of bullying coupled with her struggle with anxiety and shyness hid her musical gift for years. Everything changed when she met Jesus in an intimate encounter through worship at a youth conference; “Worship became my language with God,” she explains. “It allowed me to communicate with the Lord in a way I hadn’t experienced before…it opened my heart.”

Realizing music was a gift she desired to give back to the Lord, she began an exciting

journey of leading worship around the world and drawing people from a variety of cultures and church backgrounds under the banner of Jesus. With a passion for creating a safe and prayerful space through her music, Sarah’s focus has always been an authentic portrayal of her relationship with God.

Yet while writing songs for A New Reality, she found her relationship suddenly difficult to define.

“I can admit I have big questions and I don’t know all the answers… doubt isn’t something we should be afraid of, we should embrace it.” Deeply personal and introspective while also basking in awe at the mystery and wonder of God, A New Reality is Sarah Kroger at her most vulnerable while also standing firm in her belief. The result is a lush, prayerful, and ultimately uplifting collection of songs for anyone who’s ever felt less than perfect.
