Denver, CO; Los Angeles, CA - “But thank God that, although you used to be slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching to which you were handed over, and having been set free from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness.” [Romans 6: 17-18]
Born into the shackels of the flesh, we all have the opportunity to exchange being lorded over by the world for the freedom found by acknowledging Jesus as the Lord of our lives. When we make this life-altering choice we quickly learn that He is a good master. Until we can submit to His will, You’re Not Free.
“Dave A. and I had been building for a while. We got the idea to collaborate on a project that we feel represents us well. The first single is a stand to show that freedom in the world is not what we truly think it is.” - Procyse
On November 22, 2024, Procyse takes yet another step in what has truly been an amazing year as he joins forces with Dave A. to deliver the duo’s debut single, from their upcoming project ‘Unapologetic.’
You’re Not Free features HIS Hypeman Stract and fellow Polished Arrow Music artist Rich Colón. Produced by Quincey Tones, the record is a reminder that, even when we receive the ultimate freedom in Christ, we still remain captive to His grace.
Listeners are already familiar with the connection between Procyse and Colón (BASECAMP) as the duo put out one of 2023’s most critically acclaimed EPs. Dave A. and HIS Hypeman Stract effortlessly feed off their energy as You’re Not Free takes lyrical hip-hop and infuses it with an intoxicating sample that is certain to keep heads dipping with the rhythm.
