On January 17, 2025, Above the Clouds are bringing listeners home and warming them up with some good ol’ Soul Food.
The duo of producer Tae Lamar (Illinois) and emcee iNTELLECT (Ohio) are hitting everyone in their feelings with their first single of the new year. Above the Clouds has stood out against the Christian rap landscape since their inception back in 2020 as they keep the beat-maker/lyricist combo alive and well.
With their initial single of 2025, Soul Food, the group brings along fellow Polished Arrow Music artists Procyse and JusJames who add their unique touches to the smooth and inviting record. From the opening notes, Soul Food feels like coming home. Rapper iNTELLECT and beat maker Tae Lamar formed the group Above the Clouds in early 2019 due to their common love for Jesus and 90’s hip hop.
