FOR RELEASE FEBRUARY 3, 2025 — Faith-based rock group Relentless Flood has released a soulful acoustic rendition of their song “Still I Know,” just in time for singer Marshal Huffman to embark on a series of dates in Germany with The Protest’s Josh Bramlett. The song is streaming now at https://relentlessflood.hearnow.com/still-i-know-acoustic/.
“I came up with the acoustic arrangement for this song during the early part of the pandemic lockdowns of 2020,” Relentless Flood frontman Marshal Huffman offers. “It was a time of such turmoil and uncertainty, making it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I felt led to make a video of me playing ‘Still I Know’ acoustic as an encouragement to believers to keep their eyes on Jesus.”
Fans were deeply moved and encouraged by the song, quickly requesting a recording. Marshal is finally delivering this new version of the timeless message, just in time for a series of concerts in Germany with The Protest’s Josh Bramlett. The concerts themselves will be up-close-and-personal acoustic shows.
Marshal says, “Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to play a lot of acoustic shows. This has allowed me to portray the full dynamic range of everything the songs can be, even though they were written with heavy instrumentation and production. I am looking forward to doing music like this somewhere new with a really good friend, pouring my heart out in these songs. I have grown to love the raw emotion and more intimate connection acoustic performances facilitate with the audience.”
That connection is particularly poignant when it comes to songs with as rich a message as the one found in “Still I Know.”
“Even though we wrote ‘Still I Know’ seven years prior to the pandemic, the message rang just as true then as it does today. No matter what chaos, war, famine, pandemic, or whatever else might come our way, we know our King is still on the throne. He is our Rock and our Savior. Jesus is unchanging. He is constant. He is consistent. He is never failing,” the singer concludes.
You can stream “Still I Know (Acoustic)” wherever you are in the world today. Find Relentless Flood on Facebook and Instagram for more updates, and see a full list of German tour dates below.
