Feb. 5, 2025 (Franklin, Tenn.) – Integrity Music is thrilled to celebrate singer-songwriter, producer, and worship leader Israel Houghton for his GRAMMY® win at the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards held Sunday night at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. Houghton was presented with his seventh GRAMMY® for his contribution to Best Gospel Performance/Song with "One Hallelujah."
"We are so happy for Israel! It’s an honor for him to still be a part of the Integrity family after all these years," said Blaine Barcus, President of Integrity Music. "What an amazing legacy and yet, he’s still impacting the Church worldwide today with amazing Jesus-centered music!"
Houghton has had a long partnership history with Integrity Music, having released 14 projects together. His innovative fusion of worship music, gospel, CCM, and Latin have set him apart as an influential voice in the Church and beyond, an impact that is lasting and still fostering recognition after multiple decades of artistry.
Houghton also shared his excitement, saying, "The seasons and timing of God will never not amaze me. I’m grateful for this time in my life, ministry and family, and the God winks and surprises I’ve been experiencing. It’s all glory to God. To still be called upon and used by The Master is an honor and a privilege."
Additionally, a day before winning his seventh GRAMMY®, Israel & New Breed hosted a live Spanish album recording in the Bronx, NY, gathering over 1500 worshipers. Titled "Coritos," the upcoming project will be a bridge between Latin American cultures, gospel, and worship with songs and hymns spanning a hundred years as well as new titles in the styles of salsa and bachata.
Writing and producing collaborations feature Nate Diaz (Elevation Rhythm) and Aaron Moses (formerly of Maverick City Musica), while special guests include Unified Sound, Lucia Parker, Alex Campos, Marcos Witt, Janina Rosado, Evan Craft, Coalo Zamorano, and many more. "Coritos" is set to release in summer 2025.
