"Believe in Jesus" is a heartfelt, mid-tempo acoustic anthem that boldly proclaims unwavering faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Grammy winning artist Doe joins Evvie McKinney on this instant classic. With its simple yet powerful lyrics and a melody that soothes the soul, this song invites listeners into a place of peace, reflection, and deep reverence for the sweet presence of God.
"When I wrote 'Believe in Jesus', it all started from a conversation about how much the world glorifies everything made by God, except for God Himself," Evvie McKinney says. “Believe in Jesus” is a personal declaration expressing that although the people of the world have progressed away from Christ, I will still stand and let the whole world know that I am the daughter of The King; Jesus of Nazareth, the Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. In the past, I’ve been told many times to not say Jesus’ name in interviews and on television because it would offend people, well once the listener hears this song, there’s no doubt that you will walk away knowing who my allegiance is to. I pray that every person that listens to this song is spiritually hugged by the HolySpirit and becomes a sounding advocate for our Lord."
Doe shares, "I loved getting to be part of this moment with Evvie! I'm so thankful for such a powerful declaration circulating throughout our digital airwaves. I BELIEVE IN JESUS.”
