FRANKLIN, Tenn. (May1, 2025) — BrightStone's second annual A Night Full of Stars benefit event was a resounding success, filling Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin to capacity on April 28. The sold-out evening celebrated and supported adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through an inspiring night of music, community, and heartfelt performances—featuring two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Lauren Daigle and highlighted by the incredible talent of the BrightStone Show Choir.

The evening was graciously hosted by WSMV News 4 anchor Tracy Kornet, whose warmth and enthusiasm set the tone for an unforgettable night.

A highlight of the program was the vibrant and moving performance by the BrightStone Show Choir, under the direction of J'Nae Fincannon. The group performed a joyful set of popular songs that showcased the students' growth, confidence, and passion.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when brothers Jack Rubin, a BrightStone student, and Carter Rubin, Season 19 winner of NBC's The Voice, performed a duet of “If I Didn't Have You.” Carter, who captivated the nation as a 15-year-old on The Voice, famously performed Daigle's “You Say” during his knockout round—making it all the more meaningful for the brothers to share the stage on a night where Daigle herself was performing.

Lauren Daigle's set included a range of her chart-topping hits with a touching closing that included the BrightStone Show Choir in a collaborative rendition of the "You Say" song. During her performance, Lauren also shared heartfelt words about how deeply BrightStone's mission resonated with her, and the closing song perfectly wrapped up the "I Believe in BrightStone" message that was woven throughout the night.

"Seeing our adults shine alongside the amazing talent of Lauren Daigle, you could just feel God's hand on all of us," says Lee Rose, BrightStone President and CEO. "With our community supporters who believe in BrightStone filling up the room, it created a spirit so powerful and inspirational that it really can't be explained. When we all believe together, incredible things happen.”

The evening was a celebration of the remarkable abilities, growth, and joyful sense of community that define BrightStone and its students.

Hosted as part of the "I Believe in BrightStone" Annual Fund campaign, A Night Full of Stars directly supports BrightStone's expanding programs that empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full and meaningful lives. The night featured a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, and an uplifting program that reflected the mission at the heart of BrightStone.

This signature event is part of BrightStone's revitalized benefit tradition. After many years of hosting an annual Songwriters Night, the event paused during the pandemic. In 2024, BrightStone relaunched the event with new branding, a fresh vision, and Lady A as the inaugural headliner of this transformed experience. This year's event with Lauren Daigle affirmed the momentum and growing impact of this inspiring annual tradition.
