Nashville, Tenn. — Rising country/pop artist Jordana Bryant and breakout Christian artist Joseph O’Brien are joining forces for the first time on “Out of the Blue,” available now. Produced by Grammy-winner Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift, Keith Urban), the track delivers a fresh take on love with a moving reminder that the most beautiful things in life often arrive when you least expect them. Joseph, who is recently engaged himself, brings an added layer of authenticity to the song, making its heartfelt message even more relatable. With its soaring harmonies and emotional depth, “Out of the Blue” is already being hailed as the ‘wedding song of the season.’ Listen to “Out of the Blue” here.

“Out of the Blue” also marks another milestone for Jordana – her first collaboration. The track showcases her and Joseph’s striking vocal blend and natural chemistry, wrapped in a story about love arriving when you least expect it. Speaking to Wide Open Country, Jordana shared, “I’ve always loved songs that paint emotion in vivid colors, and this one felt so special from the moment we started writing it. Getting to bring it to life with Joseph was such a fun experience—his voice and heart brought a whole new depth to the song, and I’m so grateful this was my first-ever collab."

Joseph echoed her sentiments, expressing his enthusiasm for the project, Joseph said, "Working on 'Out Of The Blue' with Jordana and Nathan Chapman was literally one of the most enjoyable experiences. Whenever Jordana sent the song over, I was floored and humbled that she wanted me to be a part of it. We’re so proud of how the song turned out, and hands down, it’s one of my favorite duets I’ve ever sung. I hope it connects with people and makes their 'bawling my eyes out’ playlists!"

“Out of the Blue” is the latest offering from Jordana, who’s already making waves in what’s shaping up to be a whirlwind year for the rising artist. In March, she dropped her sophomore EP Right Key, Wrong Porch, which sparked multiple viral moments. Fan-favorite “Miles Don’t Matter” racked up over 1.3 million views and 60,000 shares even before its official release, while “Remembering It Wrong” quickly surpassed 400,000 streams within weeks. Each new track has underscored Jordana’s growth and authenticity, solidifying her voice as both a compelling songwriter and a standout artist. The 19-year-old is currently in the midst of her headlining ‘Backyard Tour,’ and just this week, launched her first podcast, New Friends with Jordana Bryant. The new venture offers a refreshingly honest and unfiltered space where real, and sometimes difficult, conversations take center stage with guests like Joseph O’Brien, Tatum Scott, Lily Grace and more. Each episode features candid conversations with close friends, covering everything from love, heartbreak and situationships, to social media comparison, self-doubt and mental health.

Jordana is set to celebrate the release tonight, May 9 with an Instagram livestream for fans. With a music video on the horizon as well, the momentum behind “Out of the Blue” continues to reach new heights as it resonates with listeners and cements itself as a standout moment in Jordana and Joseph’s blossoming careers.

About Joseph O’Brien

Joseph O’Brien is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Nashville, TN. Growing up with two musical parents, O’Brien had music running through his blood from day one. At age 12, he taught himself how to play the piano and realized that is where his passion was. O’Brien says, “I’ve always gravitated towards performance. It’s one of those unexplainable drives that God puts in you. Music was one of those few

things that it didn’t seem like a burden to learn and grow in.” His talent took him to the quarter finals of “America’s Got Talent” and CCM legend TobyMac took notice as well, signing him to his Gotee label.

O’Brien’s hope is to write songs that inspire others, especially his own generation to be bold for Christ and to dig deeper into their own faith. His sound has been described by others to resemble For King and Country and Owl City, who he counts as some of his inspiration. As O’Brien releases his brand new music, he is excited to continue to encourage through his music and faith.
