Disciple's Attack is an anthem-laced, battle-driven album from front to back—an absolute assault on the senses and spirit in the best possible way.
Originally released independently by Disciple in 2014, Attack was pressed in very limited numbers. Now, 11 years later, this landmark release has been given the full Girder treatment—remastered for vinyl and approved by the band themselves. Pressed on exclusive Attack Blue vinyl and part of our Limited Run Vinyl Series, only 500 copies exist. Each one comes with a two-sided printed inner sleeve loaded with lyrics and photos.
By the time Attack arrived, Disciple had already solidified their status as Christian rock veterans. But this album was different. It was a shot of adrenaline, a mission statement, a spiritual war cry. With Kevin Young leading a refreshed lineup, Attack delivered some of the most passionate and purpose-driven songs of the band’s career. It’s bold. It’s loud. It’s faith on fire. If there's one album from Disciple’s latter decade that defines their sound and purpose, it’s this one.
The album opens like a punch to the chest.
"’Til the day I die..."
(Cue drums. Cue chugging guitars.)
“’Til the day I die, I’ll be a radical.”
From the first note of "Radical," the tone is set. Gritty, unrelenting, and deeply rooted in conviction, Attack doesn’t let up. Every song is a rallying cry, fusing melodic metal with gut-punching honesty. Lyrics like:
“I’ve been radically loved
I’ve been radically changed
By His grace I have been radically saved
And I’ll live my life no other way.”
These aren’t just lyrics—they’re declarations.
By the time the chorus explodes with “TILL THE DAY I DIE,” you’re in. Fully immersed. Fully engaged. And that’s just track one.
Indie Vision Music summed it up perfectly:
“Musically, Attack is a hybrid between their Back Again album and their later self-titled era sound… Simply put, it is their best album since their self-titled, and perhaps since By God.”
This album has heart, hooks, and a message that cuts through the noise.
