After wrapping up the sold-out U.S. leg of his current world tour, breakout artist Josiah Queen drops “Two Wooden Beams” – a soul-piercing new song about the cost of love that he debuted while on the road. He wrote the track with singer-songwriter John Michael Howell, who produced, and Zac Lawson. Listen to “Two Wooden Beams” HERE. View the official video, which was directed by Brady Pettee and shot in Nashville, HERE.
Reflecting on “Two Wooden Beams,” the 22-year-old Tampa native says, “I spent a long time searching for love and I finally found it – on two wooden beams where God gave everything for me. His sacrifice taught me that love is much more about sacrifice than it is a feeling.”
“Two Wooden Beams” is the follow-up to “Yesterday Is Dead,” which Queen performed on “Fox & Friends Weekend” on Easter Sunday as part of the 2025 Faith & Friends Concert Series. Watch his performance HERE. The song gave Queen his highest-ever streaming debut for a single without a feature. Combined global streams have now surpassed nine million while short form video views are over 22 million.
Queen will perform as special guest on the U.S. dates of Phil Wickham and Brandon Lake’s Summer Worship NightsTour. Now in its third year, the outing will visit arenas across the country, kicking off with two nights in Pennsylvania – July 17 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh and July 18 at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey – and including shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (July 20 – sold out), American Airlines Center in Dallas (July 26 & 27) and Phoenix’s PHX Arena (July 31 – sold out). The U.S. leg of the tour wraps up at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on August 3. See below for itinerary. Tickets are available at www.josiahqueen.com/.
Named one of Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Artists To Watch For 2024 and praised by Billboard for his “acoustic-based, Americana-leaning sound,” Queen has amassed over 400 million combined global streams already – including over 265 million U.S. streams for his 2024 self-released debut album The Prodigal. The album’s title track earned Queen his first Gold record. He made his Capitol Records/Capitol Christian Music Group (CCMG) debut with “Can’t Steal My Joy” ft. Brandon Lake in January 2025.
