WHAT WE SEEK drops a re-recorded and re-imagined version of their 2022 debut album released through The Charon Collective. Australian producer Lachlan Pickford mixed and mastered the new edition. The previous eight songs are accompanied by a bonus one entitled "Soul From The Flesh," which they originally tracked in a separate session in 2022.
"Those original tracks were DIY produced and the quality wasn’t great. We completely re-recorded and had everything professionally re-mixed and mastered and are releasing [it] along with a music video," stated WHAT WE SEEK vocalist Nick Cockriel.
Fans of the original release can expect a more robust and balanced experience than what was previously put out. New listeners unfamiliar with the group will find themselves assaulted by a unique blend of influences ranging from Caliban and Kublai Khan TX to Cultist and With Blood Comes Cleansing. Prepare yourselves for the sonic wall of death known as WHAT WE SEEK!
