Anthony & Tiffany Salerno invite listeners to soak in the sunshine and some soul-searching with their latest single, “What Would You Do?” — a vibrant, feel-good track that poses thought-provoking questions wrapped in catchy, summer-ready production.
With an upbeat vibe and bright, breezy instrumentation, the song explores the inner journey of faith with lyrics like:
“If fear was off the table, what would you do?”
“What if their approval wasn’t in your view?”
“What if there was no selfishness in you?”
The heart behind that third question traces back to Life in Christ, a discipleship manual created by Anthony’s father, Tony Salerno — a Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning, Billboard Top 100, multi-Platinum producer.
“It’s important for young people — and really people of all ages — to intentionally consider their life path instead of living on autopilot,” says Tony. “For decades, my passion has been helping youth and young adults understand what it means to follow Christ. My hope is that both the manual and this song spark that kind of reflection.”
Tiffany explains that the song echoes themes found in Numbers 13–14, where God challenges the Israelites to step boldly into the Promised Land.
“Eight of the ten spies essentially said, ‘They won’t want us there; let’s not risk it,’” she explains. “But Joshua and Caleb believed God’s promise and declared, ‘We can do this!’ They chose faith over fear — and they’re the ones who pleased God.”
The song's lyrics also stem from real-life decisions Tiffany has made, guided by faith rather than fear. Pivotal questions like “What would you do if fear was off the table?” helped her take bold steps like moving to Los Angeles with limited resources but a strong sense of God’s leading. Similarly, asking “What would love do?” helped steer her through other key life choices.
“To anyone listening,” Tiffany shares, “I truly hope your next decision is led by faith, hope, and love.”
