REDDING, Calif. (Aug. 6, 2025) — Bethel Music recently gathered worship leaders, students, and alumni at Bethel Church’s College View campus in Redding, Calif., to celebrate a major milestone: 25 years since Brian and Jenn Johnson began leading the ministry that has become a global powerhouse in modern worship. The special anniversary event also marked the kickoff of the 25th year of Bethel Music Worship School—the immersive training program that was foundeda quarter-century ago, which continues to equip worship leaders worldwide.

The celebration honored the Johnsons’ visionary leadership and enduring impact on worship culture. Attendees paid tribute to Brian and Jenn’s decades of dedication. Iconic worship leaders shared heartfelt acknowledgments, including CeCe Winans, who said, “Thank you for leading the world in worship for 25 years. You have been a blessing to my life,” Chris Tomlin, who reflected, “You’ll never know this side of heaven, but one day you’ll see in full the incredible impact,” and Darlene Zschech, who celebrated the Johnsons’ faithfulness and anointing.

Since officially debuting their music ministry in 2001 and releasing their first album, “Here Is Love” (2010), Bethel Music has become synonymous with modern worship innovation. Their expansive catalog includes 14 live albums, three studio albums, numerous singles, and over 70 music videos. Landmark projects such as “Tides” and “Revival’s in the Air” have topped Christian music charts in the U.S. and the U.K., influencing worshipers worldwide.

Also celebrating its 25th year, Bethel Music Worship School began as a small gathering in Redding and has grown into a flagship event offering immersive training in worship leadership, songwriting, theology, and spiritual growth. This year’s Worship School marked its largest attendance ever, drawing more than 1,000 attendees from over 25 countries at the Redding campus, in addition to an expanded experience that allowed participants to join from anywhere through a dynamic online/livestream format. This record-breaking turnout reflects the expanding global impact of the Johnsons’ ministry and the enduring hunger for authentic, Spirit-led worship.
