Last Thursday, two-time GRAMMY Nominee Blessing Offor was surprised with a plaque celebrating his first RIAA Gold Certification for the single, “Brighter Days,” at a party celebrating the release of his new album, Real. The honor was presented by Brad O’Donnell, President of CCMG, who was a part of signing Blessing to the label. “Brighter Days” is the lead single from Blessing’s critically acclaimed debut album, My Tribe, and introduced him to a global audience as proven by Top 25 status on the mainstream AC radio chart and over 150 million views on TikTok.
Blessing punctuated the long-awaited release Real with a performance of “Lift Me Up” on Today with Jenna and Friends. “Lift Me Up” has quickly won the hearts of new fans and old having quickly surpassed 5 million streams in the short amount of time it has been available. Real features 16 deeply personal songs created during a season of profound loss. In just 18 months, Blessing lost his sister, best friend and partner, as well as his mother. Rather than bottling up his feeling Blessing took the emotional wounds and forged them into art. Watch Blessing’s performance on Today with Jenna and Friends HERE and listen to Real HERE.
Since the debut of his album My Tribe, two-time GRAMMY® nominee and multi-award winner Blessing Offor has established himself as a true artist’s artist with a voice as bright and authentic as his personality. My Tribe debuted in early 2023 and quickly hit Top 20 on THREE Billboard charts. The album’s lead single, “Brighter Days” earned him his first RIAA Gold Certification and his duet, “The Goodness” with TobyMac, became his first #1. Building on his success, Blessing has also appeared on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Kelly Clarkson and The Jennifer Hudson Show, and was named 2023’s Amazon Music Breakthrough Artist and Pandora Artist to Watch. Blessing spent most of 2024 on the road with Lauren Daigle as the support act for her Kaleidoscope Tour and made his Stagecoach Festival debut in 2025. Amid the highs of his touring and debut album accolades, Blessing lost his sister, best friend and partner, as well as his mother in the span of 18 months. His long-awaited sophomore album, Real, was created during this season of profound loss, taking the emotional wounds and forging them into 16 deeply personal songs. Real is now available worldwide, and you can find him on tour here.
